Job Description

Koenig Equipment is actively seeking long-term Lawn & Garden Equipment Sales Interns to support our Ohio Branch locations in Oxford, Urbana and Lebanon. These are designed as year around Internship opportunities, and we will work to accommodate academic schedules. Below is an outline of the role:
Primary Expectations
  • Directly work with the sales team and sales leaders in developing new prospects and following through with an entire sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with branch and enterprise sales, parts and service teams to accomplish wins and create engagement.
  • Cultivate professional skills through on-the-job learning, technical training and through mentoring by tenured staff.
  • Develop the ability to build relationships with customers at varying levels of seniority.
  • Expand your understanding of the overall sales process and how each function engages to drive success.
  • Advance role and  industry knowledge through product training.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Aptitudes
  • Actively engaged in the completion of an academic program aligned with the defined expectations of the position.
  • Year around internship capacity that will accommodate academic schedules. 
  • Experience operating Turf and CCE equipment in a competent and safe manner.
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to engage customers individually or in a group presentation.
  • Team oriented
  • Drivers’ license and clean driving record.
