Position Summary: Thisposition is responsible for providing consolidated Warranty Administration tothe 4 Rivers Equipment organization.   


  1. TrainService Managers on the provisions of manufacturers’ warranties, on policyadministration, and on the centralized warranty process.
  2. AssessService Managers’ adherence to the warrant process – i.e. assess the adequacyand timeliness of warranty claim input.  If necessary involve the Store Manager and / or the Product SupportManager in problems with the warranty process so that timely corrective actionis taken.
  3. Monitorwarranty work-in-process.  Notify StoreManagers in the event warranty work orders are not closed in a timely manner.
  4. Submitwarranty claims.
  5. NotifyService Managers of denied or inadequately paid claims.  Follow-up to ensure problem claims arecorrected and resubmitted within manufacturers’ time limitations or that theService Manager understands why the failure in not warrantable so that theService Manager can confidently invoice the responsible party.
  6. Investigate/ resolve unpaid warranty claims – determine why the claim has not been paidand initiate corrective action.
  7. Reconcilewarranty claim credits to the receivable daily.
  8. Otherduties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Able and willing totravel to the various locations



  1. Highschool diploma or equivalent
  2. Agricultural,construction equipment, or automotive technical degree and/or equivalent workexperience or training
  3. Workingknowledge of agricultural or construction equipment warranty administration andwarranty claims system
  4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  5. Proficientin Microsoft Excel and Word
  6. Ableto type proficiently
  7. Stronganalytical and math skills
  8. Strongcommunication skills
  9. Strongorganizational skills
  10. Ableto multi-task
  11. Professionaland positive appearance and demeanor.
  12. Musthave a clean MVR and insurable to drive.
