Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties. Identifies and provides complete parts solutions for customers.


  • Maintains all parts orders for technicians and distribute as needed.
  • Source parts as needed to complete jobs.
  • Quickly establish rapport and relationships with customers and/or technicians.
  • Provides qualify customer experience through knowledge, use of systems, and process execution.
  • Effective use of computer applications including Sales Manual, JD Parts, Parts Expert, JD Point, Parts Advisor, barcode system and Dealer Business System.
  • Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
  • Maintains inventory integrity by verifying receipt in shipments and assisting with placing part orders in their proper inventory locations; assisting in cycle counts; following up on inventory discrepancies and expediting issues by reporting to the Manager.
  • Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly.
  • Assists in maintaining all departmental tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management and support resources, with constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Ensure that the company's reputation and image in the community is consistent with Company Core Values.
  • Safely operate a forklift and other related equipment as needed.


Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience. Prior experience working in a Parts Department preferred.
  • Basic parts and machinery knowledge, preferred.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff and/or customers.
  • Ability to work individually with minimal supervision.
  • Team oriented; contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Proficient in computers and ability to utilize various computer applications.

Physical Demand

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and grip.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times a day.
  • Forklift license preferred.
