Parts Call Center Specialist


Purpose:

Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. In addition, performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer’s emails.
  • Quickly establish rapport and relationship with customer.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints tactfully.
  • Provide quality parts recommendations including alternatives that meet customers' needs.
  • Effective use of computer applications including Sales Manual, JD Parts, Parts Expert, JD Point, Parts Advisor, barcode system and Dealer Business System..
  • Provides quality customer experience through knowledge, use of systems, and process execution.
  • Identify and escalate issues to supervisors
  • Proactively seek and participate in company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Ensure that the company's reputation and image in the community is consistent with Company Core Values.
  • Safely operate a forklift and other related equipment, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by direct manager

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarization and experience working in a Call Center, preferred.
  • Ability to build customer relationships and maintain a professional image.
  • Understands basic selling processes.
  • Basic data entry/keyboarding skills and experience using and navigating basic computer programs (i.e., Microsoft based products)
  • Basic parts and machinery knowledge.
  • Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to contribute to a positive team work environment.
  • High developed interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and experience.
  • Fork lift license preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures
