Supervises: Parts Department personnel, as instructed by the Parts Manager

Purpose
Assists Parts Manager to lead parts operations within the dealership to provide the highest level of external and internal customer experience while maximizing return on investment through parts sales, inventory management, and expense control
Responsibilities
- Communicates, enforces, and monitors effective Parts Department processes to ensure positive internal and external customer experience
- Identifies continuous improvements in the areas of growing sales, increasing customer experience and employee engagement
- Executes parts orders and returns according to company policy
- Provides quality customer experience through knowledge, use of systems, and process execution
- Monitors and holds Parts Department employees accountable to the adherence to standard processes
- Communicates, enforces, and monitors effective Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
- Provides parts recommendations including alternatives that meet customers’ needs
- Ensures parts showroom and warehouses are kept orderly and clean
- Ensures that company’s reputation and image are consistent with company Core Values
- Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge
- 5+ years previous experience as a parts sales professional or related sales or service experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associates preferred
- Demonstrated ability to connect with customers, maintain professional image, establish rapport
- Experience using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Parts Department operations
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends
