The history of James River Equipment dates back to 1926 when Rudolph Romer opened his first John Deere Dealership in Holly, Colorado. In 1977, the Romers made the decision to expand eastward and purchased four construction and forestry dealerships in Virginia which were combined to form James River Equipment. Since 2001, James River Equipment has added on average one new location and one new partner per year. Warranty Administrator 

Job Responsibilities: 

Assists the Warranty Manager with filing and follow up on all claims with manufactures 

Files warranty claims as directed for all manufacturers 

Follows proper warranty procedures in accordance with manufacture guidelines 

Works in conjunction with the Warranty Manager & team to ensure filing of all warranty repairs within set manufacturer’s timelines Other duties as assigned; closing internal work orders for locations, tracking warranty filings and recording credits & monitoring location WIP 

Job Requirements: 

One year of relevant experience preferred; CDK experience a plus 

High School Diploma or GED equivalent 

Strong communication, attention to detail and customer service skills 

Solid computer skills 

Ability to pass a background and drug screen test
