Purpose:
Operations Center Specialist will understand the John Deere Operation Center and assist customers and other Gooseneck employees; strengthening our relationship with them by providing digital solutions and support.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek new customers, alongside our Account Managers, to take advantage of the Operation Center and help them get started in the program.
- Educate both internal employees and customers on how to utilize the Operation Center.
- Learn and support the telematics products from JD: in field data sharing, WDT, JDLINK, etc.
- Assist and support our Call Centers, which requires after hours work on a rotational basis.
- GTAC: internal call center for Operations Center and Telematics Support.
- Subscriptions/Activations Hotline for Displays and Receivers.
- Assist stores with their drive and execution to attain their goals in relation to the PAES scorecard.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- 3 - 4 years’ experience or internships in an agriculture-related, marketing, or business role
- Willingness to learn database software and computer application systems
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Ability to work flexible hours and be flexible with tasks
- Ability to speak and present one-on-one and to a group
- Ability to manage projects which would include multi-tasking and prioritization
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to demonstrate concern and care for customer privacy and data security
- Self-motivated to achieve and surpass goals
- Willing to go out and grow our business with the help of the Gooseneck Team
- Have the willingness to solve problems and issues that arise
