Purpose:
Supports the administration of accounting and reporting activities in accordance with Dealership policies, procedures, and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Executes accounting activities to ensure that financial processes and information are accurate, timely, and contain adequate internal controlsActively supports processing and accounting for select areas that may include banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales processing, and/or sales tax. Maintains records, registries, and schedules for different categories of inventories and assets Administers select financial management and reporting systems and parameters Supports the preparation of financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, reports to stakeholders, tax returns, and other needsParticipates in the identification, calculation, and reporting of key operational business metricsSupports internal and external audits of select activities and functions
Job Requirements:
3+ years accounting, reporting, or business analysis experience2+ years of experience in accounting operations or auditing preferred1+ years of supervisory experience preferredKnowledge of financial principles required for budgeting and strategic planningUnderstands financial statements, cash flow, and key financial ratiosUnderstands the integrated systems of internal control and the relationship to disclosure and financial reportingProficient with accounting systemsBachelors Degree in an Accounting/Finance/Business discipline or equivalent experience required.
