Job Description

Looking for a rewarding career in small engine repair?  Do you have experience working with gas/diesel engines, electrical and hydraulics?  This may be the job for you!  Our Neepawa location is looking for a Service Technician to perform basic to complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on lawn and grounds care equipment.  Other duties will include:

  • Perform basic to complex electronic and computer diagnostics and determines what adjustments and repairs are needed.

  • Performs all service and repairs as required.

  • Participates in all job-related training and development.

  • Maintains current product knowledge of, lawn care equipment and competitive products.

  • Maintains condition of tools and equipment

  • Set up and pre-delivery inspection of new equipment

  • Maintain a safe work environment following the guidelines of workplace health and safety and Enns Brothers

The wage range for this position is $18.00-$25.00 / hour dependent on qualification and experience; also comes with performance incentive, employee purchase program, comprehensive health and dental benefits, disability and life insurance benefits and a group RRSP program.  We are also committed to your growth and development and provide ongoing training opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Experience working in a service technician role

  • Proven knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of equipment

  • Knowledge of small engines and other mechanical, electrical and fluid systems

  • Good attention to detail

  • Excellent skills in equipment used for diagnostic purposes

  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills
