The history of James River Equipment dates back to 1926 when Rudolph Romer opened his first John Deere Dealership in Holly, Colorado. In 1977, the Romers made the decision to expand eastward and purchased four construction and forestry dealerships in Virginia which were combined to form James River Equipment. Since 2001, James River Equipment has added on average one new location and one new partner per year. James River Equipment is currently seeking a qualified Service Advisor for our Raleigh, NC location. Service Advisor

Job Details:

Coordinate service efforts between the Shop Foreman, CSA, and Customer while keeping the Service Manager and Sales Dept up to date

Own the Customer Relationship from initial call to invoice

Maintain contact with the customer during the machine repair process

Work with the Shop Foreman to schedule repairs

Monitor work order status and quote status

Close work orders an average of 3 days after last labor posting

Update Customer Trax with critical machine repair info

Post time cards and maintain attendance records for their team

Must be level 1 CSA certified or Level 1 Service Manager certified or in the process

Process the PO's for their team

Process and track non-Deere warranties

Complete and follow the approved work order process

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen test

Excellent customer service, communication and computer skills
