Sales Representative 

American Implement is looking for an experienced Sales Representative who is familiar with the agricultural practices in the area. This person will use their interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and organizational skills to develop sales leads and provide solutions to customers. Being able to present oneself in a professional manner and possessing great communication skills will aid in the success of this role. Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and have a clean motor vehicle record. EOE.

Our Scott City dealership is located along the Western Vistas Historic Byway. The area offers such natural wonders as Monument Rocks and Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park, as well as museums, galleries, and the Spencer Flight and Education Center. There are also plenty of recreational opportunities including a golf course, municipal pool, sports complex, and Lake Scott State Park.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position pays a base salary plus commission, allowing earning potential of up to six figures, with company vehicle provided. Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell the company’s new and used agriculture line of products.
- Maintain product knowledge including current market values, features and benefits of new and used equipment, as well as stay up to date on competitive lines of equipment.
- Develop working knowledge of financing options available to customers.
- Attend sales meetings and product trainings to stay current on equipment and offerings.
- Ensure effective communication is maintained with appropriate sales staff, other departments, and customers to meet individual sales objectives.
- Provide professional and courteous service and present a positive image of the company in efforts to maintain current customers and gain new customers.

Qualifications:
- Three to five years’ experience in sales
- Background in agricultural or related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills
