We are currently looking to add new members to our Martin Tractor Inc family. We have an opening for a Large Ag Sales Professional at our Galesburg, IL location.

What will a Large Ag Sales Professional Team Member do?

  • This person will be responsible for selling machinery to new customers while taking over an established book of business with a loyal customer base.
  • The right candidate will have an ag background, the ability to multi-task, and the drive to succeed.

Other Essential Responsibilities:

  • Represents the company for the sale of large ag machinery to customers in a defined sale area and maintains that customer data.
  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment that could be resold by the dealership, and equipment values to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
  • Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management accordingly.
  • Monitors trends in customer's business activities and timely communicates to management.
  • Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new/used goods and conduct new equipment field demonstrations if needed.
  • May maintain current knowledge of used.

Education, Experience, Skills and Knowledge:

  • 1+ years equipment sales experience
  • Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
