Job Description


Supports the Store Administrator and performs a full range of administrative support duties for a dealership location.   Directs phone calls received at the location to the appropriate dealership personnel.


o     Receives visitors and telephone calls ensuring these individuals are directed to the proper parties within the dealership

o     Assist in preparing bank deposits and balances cash receipts

o     Assist in records standard accounts payable and accounts receivable entries on a daily and monthly basis

o     Assist in maintaining accounts payable or accounts receivable records

o     Reviews purchase orders ensuring information is accurate and submits supporting paperwork to the Accounting Department

o     Distributes mail and maintains dealership files

o     Assist in drafting and types standard letters and memorandum as requested and prepares documents for distribution

o     Provides administrative support to the sales, parts, and service departments at that location

o     May order office supplies for the store location

o     Performs all other related Administrative functions as needed and directed by Administration.

Job Requirements

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

o    Solid clerical expertise

o    General accounting knowledge

o    Strong people and communication skills

o    Excellent organizational skills

o    Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office

o    High School degree or equivalent experience
