Job Description

To fulfill Pattison Agricultures’ vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Retail Finance Lead for Region 2 (Kindersley, Leader, Unity, North Battleford) to promote all aspects of the business of John Deere Financial and assisting sales via support with the sales finance process for Pattison Agriculture. This position will report to the General Manager for Region 2 and can work out of any of the Region 2 locations.


Responsibilities

This individual’s responsibilities include:

  • Aiding the sales department through support with the sales finance process
  • Working with Retail Finance Manager’s to connect with Sales Manager and Territory Manager’s to ensure that calls have been made based on finance leads provided
  • Supporting the Retail Finance Manager’s to ensure that market share is met with JDF and outside lenders
  • Requesting buyouts from lenders
  • Conducting lien searches on incoming trades and obtain releases as required
  • Assisting Retail Finance Manager(s) with Lease Maturity Process
  • Being knowledgeable about financing options for our customers, including non-John Deere product financing needs and outside lender programs
  • Being informed on competitive & inline programs as well as market developments
  • Assembling documentation to complete the finance and sales process
  • Communicating with customers as needed over the phone or face to face


Requirements

This would be an ideal position if you have:

  • Business, Commerce or alternate related post-secondary education or 2-3 year’s work experience in equipment finance background
  • Previous experience in the Agriculture Equipment industry is considered an asset
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
  • Strong interpersonal skills with customers and and/or other employees
  • Effective time management
  • Skills in using software systems and Internet applications
