This position deals with all rentals at the store and ensures customer satisfaction.  

Rental Coordinator is primarily responsible for the accurate tracking and management of all inventory entering and exiting the 4Rivers Equipment Frederick, CO yard. This includes but is not limited to ensuring that paperwork is properly completed, machine condition is noted and services are requested as needed, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a presentable yard for easy inventory management as well as customer experience. The Rental Coordinator assists the Rental Manager by communicating about all inventory in the yard as well as the condition of all inventory. 4Rivers Equipment depends on the Rental Coordinator to be successful and expects the Rental Coordinator to conduct his/herself with honesty, integrity, and fairness. This position is a “hybrid” position; 70% outside duties, 30% indoor duties. Being comfortable working in extreme weather conditions is very important as temperatures in Colorado can vary greatly from season to season.

Essential Duties:

• Track and account for all inventory on site
• Mark all inventory with stock numbers
• Prepare whole goods release form for inventory leaving the yard
• Complete whole goods release form for inventory being returned
• Receive new, used, and consignment inventory (unload trucks) and complete associated paperwork
• Maintain knowledge of the inventory status (shop, stock, etc)
• Assess and ensure readiness of inventory to perform
• Initiate service requests
• Handle rental phone calls when rental manager is unavailable
• Maintain a neat, organized, presentable yard
• Interact with customers in a professional manner
• Coordinate with the Parts and Service departments to maintain inventory in good working order and to communicate customer, Rental Department, or Sales                   Department needs
• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality is vital. Must attend work regularly and to arrive at work on time. Failure to do so detrimentally affects team              morale and productivity. 

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record; CDL preferred but not required
• Experience with heavy equipment preferred but not required (will train as needed)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to shift focus and re-prioritize quickly
• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills (Excel and Word)
