Position Specifics:

Department:  Parts
Reports to:    Remote Team Leader
Supervises:   None

Purpose:

Responsible for selling parts and accessories via phone support for the Gooseneck Enterprise while delivering industry leading customer experience. In addition to performing phone parts sales, remote parts counter person will be involved in assisting Aftermarket Account Managers with proactive phone support to customers, such as notification of parts specials, identification of key parts for stocking recommendation, tracking response and resolution times for customer interaction via Gooseneck software.      

 The position is based out of your home, location you are based out of can be flexible. 

Responsibilities:


o    Have ability to work remotely
o    Should be self-motivated, driven, and detail orientated
o    Have ability to adjust to seasonal work demands and weekends
o    Have ability to work on flexible rotation scheduling
o    Collaborate with Aftermarket Team to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
    Understands and delivers a supreme Gooseneck Experience
o    Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns and needs
o    Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs via Gooseneck Enterprise Customer Support phone bank
o    Supplies Field Service Technicians with parts as required
o    Assists with preparing recommended on site parts stocking criteria for customers
o    Understands and promotes Dealer Customer Portal (Gooseneck Gateway) to customers
o    Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:


o    Advance data entry/keyboarding skills/video conferencing/other apps applicable to industry
o    Advanced parts and machinery knowledge
o    Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application
o    Ability to work in a team environment
o    Ability to deliver superior phone experience to customer
o    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
o    Multi-tasking abilities
o    Patience when handling tough situations or customers
o    High School diploma or equivalent experience
