Job Description



Purpose 

This individual is responsible for managing our rental fleet, rental policies and procedures, lease return buy back evaluations and tire, wheels and other whole goods components. 



Responsibilities  

  • Management of rental fleet to consider USED Inventory 4x turns 
  • Schedule Monthly Calls with North and South accounting staff that manage rentals 
  • Review weekly, all rental data from North and South Administrators 
  • Work with RSMs to approve and review all rentals. 
  • Manage the Rental Rate Document and rental rules. 
  • Work with Asset Management Team to determine most important units to rent. 
  • Communicate to Each Region any RENTAL PROMOTION 
  • Physical Evaluation and Valuation of all JDF Lease Returns for Retail Sale and Lease Participation Metric 
  • Assist Business Development Manager Sourcing Equipment for Opportunities 
  • Assist Asset Team in Acquisition and Transfer of incoming and outgoing stock 
  • Utilize IronConnect for Pre-Trade offers and Lease Return Equipment 
  • Review and Manage IRONCONNECT FOR SALE / PRE-TRADE OFFER / FOR TRADE Postings regarding Tires, Wheels, Hubs, Weights, Components and USED Guidance Equipment 
  • Marketing, sourcing and sales of all Component Type of Whole goods 
  • Review Each IRONCONNECT Posting by other users for both Ag and CF 
  • Visit each location Monthly to review Condition, Quality, Advertising and inventory 
  • Manage all requirements for the Michelin KAD Program 
  • Assist Used Equipment Manager and QA team for sourcing components for stock or sold units 
  • Develop B2B sales/wholesale opportunities  
  • Manage movement log of demo equipment
  • Evaluate photo quality of equipment meets Hutson quality standards for marketing materials and website
  • Assist with "after the sale" logistics/movement of equipment sold


Experience, Education and Skills  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in an Agricultural related field. 
  • Time management skills 
  • Basic selling skills. 
  • Ability to learn basic knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment as well as technology trends/advancements. 
  • Ability to use software applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours. 
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.  


Essential Eligibility Requirements  

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
