Job Description

Purpose:

Coastline Equipment has recently been named as the Wirtgen Dealer for Nevada.

The position of Regional Paving/Road Technology Territory Manager is responsible for sales and marketing of Wirtgen Road Technology & Aggregate Equipment in the Las Vegas, Nevada region.

Reports to:    Regional Sales Manager
 
Responsibilities:

May include some or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Produce general market awareness for the Wirtgen brand distributed by Coastline Equipment Company.
  • Assists in development of annual strategic sales plan to achieve department goals.
  • Annually establishes target accounts and executes on call strategies agreed to by sales leadership.
  • Establish business relationships by meeting with target customers daily, assisting branch department management in building/maintaining relationships and fostering clear lines of communication with our customers.
  • Execute on agreed upon annual sales goals
  • Studies market analyses to determine customersales and rental
  • Adhere to dealer and factory training path to maintain industry and product knowledge while developing reputation as industry expert.
  • Assists in developing marketing strategies with Coastline leadership to effectively promote the Wirtgen and Coastline brands to local paving/aggregate industry.
  • Recommends product specification that align with local industry demand.
  • Delivers sales presentations to key customers in coordination with branch leadership.
  • Meets with target customers daily, assisting branch department management in building/maintaining relationships and clear lines of communication with our target customers
  • Daily log sales calls and sales opportunities in the Handle CRM platform to drive sales activity awareness.
  • Daily prospects for new business opportunities.
  • Monitorsandevaluatestheactivitiesandproducts ofthe
  • Be actively involved within local paving industry trade organizationpreferably at committee level.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the sales of heavy construction equipment, paving equipment and aggregate equipment.
  • Organization and communication skills must be highly developed.
  • Computer skills need to be broad.
