Sunshine Quality Solutions is looking for a Precision Ag Consultant. The precision ag consultant provides services, expertise, and training for the sale and support of solutions enabled by the John Deere Precision Ag strategy and other aligned technology and applications. This individual ensures ongoing Precision Ag mainstreaming and works with all dealership departments to sell and support precision farming products and services. What Youll Do

The Precision Ag Consultant coordinates the execution of the dealerships John Deere Precision Ag strategy and ensures understanding of John Deere Precision Ag solutions in sales, service, parts, and all other departments. This individual serves as the internal and external specialist for new precision farming products through developing and delivering employee and customer training for John Deere Precision Ag solutions and advanced precision farming products. In addition, the Precision Ag Consultant provides recommendations of stocking/ inventory requirements for solutions enablement, recommendations on ordering option codes in respect to new technology codes, and solutions-based business consulting services to customers.

Whats Required

• 1-2 years of experience in an agriculture related role
• Proficient knowledge of electrical and wireless communication systems
• Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/ emerging customer need
• Strong computer skills:
  • Microsoft Office
  • Internet functions
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to store locations and customers
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Associates Degree, or equivalent experience, in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization

Whats Preferred

• 2+ years of experience in an agriculture related role
• Dealership sales, service, training, or other related work experience
• Certified Crop Advisor certification
• Bachelors Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization
