Job Description

Responsible for shipping, receiving and storage of all parts and materials sold and inventoried by West Side Tractor Sales. Also operates company vehicle to transport parts, small equipment, supplies and paperwork for the dealership.

Job Requirements

Parts Warehouse Job Duties:

•         Parts sales orders picking, packing and shipping

•         Knowledgeable on all shipping requirements and methods of shipment

•         Receiving of parts orders

•         Performs physical counts in coordination with inventory control and parts management

•         Responsible for maintaining a clean and operationally effective warehouse

•         As time permits, may also assume other responsibilities within the parts department at the assigned location

•         Participates in West Side’s Safety Program

•         Other duties as assigned

Parts Delivery Driver Job Duties:

•         Transports parts, small equipment, supplies, and paperwork between dealer facilities; may also deliver to customers

•         Maintains records of pickup and deliveries as required; Obtains necessary signatures and receipts

•         Maintain assigned truck

•         As time permits, may also assume other responsibilities within the parts department at the assigned location

Experience, Education, Skills & Knowledge:

•         Previous experience in a parts department or warehouse environment preferred

•         Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record as required by company policy and DOT regulations (if applicable)

•         Previous experience as a delivery driver or professional driver strongly preferred

•         Good communication skills

•         Solid equipment and parts knowledge

Physical Requirements of this position:

•         Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification as may be required by the truck operated

•         Ability to lift, manipulate, and move items weighing upwards of 50 lbs. repeatedly

•         Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, kneel and squat as required by assigned task

•         Exposure to chemicals

Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
