We are currently looking to add a Parts Sales Professional to our Martin Tractor, Inc. team in Pleasant Hill, IL.

What will a Parts Sales Professional do?

  • Recognize and greet all customers as soon as they enter the building.
  • Create a positive experience for all customers through attitude, helpfulness, clarity, and innovation.
  • Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs.
  • Supply service technicians with parts in a timely manner to minimize service technician down time and places parts on correct segments of repair order.

Other Essential Functions:

  • Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays and keep show room stocked and clean.
  • Assist in loading and unload shipments and transfer trucks.
  • Unload and verifies receipting in of shipments and assists with placing machine down and stock orders in their proper inventory locations.
  • Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager, Record lost sales, and inventory parts bins.
  • Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order.
  • Assists in keeping parts department clean, orderly, and assist with removal of trash to the dumpsters.
  • Engage the marketing plan by calling customers, asking for feedback from store visiting customers as to needs.
  • Proactively promote competitive parts and accessories to each customer.
  • While in communication with customers, actively review and update customer information, and notify them on progress of order parts and availability.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

  • Basic data entry/keyboarding skills and use of basic programs.
  • Basic parts and machinery knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
