21st Century Equipment, LLC is now accepting applications for Parts Manager in Flagler, Colorado.    Preferred applicants will have 3+ years’ experience with agricultural parts business.  Required skills include excellent customer relationship and computer skills, understanding of financial management and inventory knowledge.  Supervisory experience preferred but not required.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly with extended periods of standing, climbing, bending. Benefits include Health & Dental/Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Traditional & Roth 401k with Company Match, Profit Sharing, Paid Vacation & Holidays, and more.  Salary range based on experience $60,000-$65,000/year.  Parts Management employees are eligible for a monthly incentive up to $500 and quarterly incentive up to $1875, based on operating profit and sales growth respectively. JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:   Parts Manager                                                        

REPORTS TO:   Store Manager/Aftermarket Manager

SUPERVISES:   Parts employees

WORKS CLOSELY WITH:  Service Manager

JOB SUMMARY:   Oversee a variety of customer service, merchandising, promoting, advertising, and stocking duties.  Position is responsible for supervising and operating a profitable, safe, efficient, and effective parts dept.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (listed in order of importance):

  • Supervise parts department employees including interviewing, hiring, and performance management; conduct reviews and determine wage increases; setting work schedules, assigning locations, and monitoring workload; providing opportunities for training and growth.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to ensure the dept. is running as effectively as possible.
  • Promote and merchandise parts and accessories using all appropriate advertising methods.
  • Maintain an accurate and effective parts inventory control system.
  • Recruit, recommend and train parts personnel to support customer service requirements.
  • Control and maintain proper paper flow in the Dept.
  • Conduct a perpetual and/or annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories.
  • Attend schools & seminars as directed by senior management.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 3+ Years’ experience in agriculture parts business.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  • Should have an understanding of financial management as it relates to the Parts Dept.
  • Understand the details of inventory control and apply that knowledge to maintain an accurate inventory.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extended periods of standing, climbing bending, must be able to lift 50lbs regularly, extensive hours on a computer.
