Purpose:
Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories. In addition performs in-store customer service, overall organizational promotion, and stocking duties.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes and sells products to internal/external customers
- Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
- Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
- Re-stocks and prepares showroom, as required
- Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
- Maintains the company grounds, including bathrooms, showroom, offices, building and yard, shop floors, parts aisles
- Receives, unloads delivery trucks and de-trashes in preparation for stocking
- Assists the parts team with stocking parts
- Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
- Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
- Conduct parts runs to Field Services Techs, as required
- Keep STIHL equipment stocked in showroom, assemble as needed
- Follows all safety rules, regulations and adhere to all policies and procedures while performing work assignments
- Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management and support resources with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
- May be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Basic data entry/keyboarding skills
- Basic parts and machinery knowledge
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Forklift license preferred
- Multi-lingual skills preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
