The history of James River Equipment dates back to 1926 when Rudolph Romer opened his first John Deere Dealership in Holly, Colorado. In 1977, the Romers made the decision to expand eastward and purchased four construction and forestry dealerships in Virginia which were combined to form James River Equipment. Since 2001, James River Equipment has added on average one new location and one new partner per year. James River Equipment is currently seeking a Parts Counter Associate for our New Bern location. Parts Counter Associate – New Bern Job 

Responsibilities:  

Sells products and/or services to meet customer needs 

Records sales and/or counter transactions  

Supplies service technicians with parts as required 

Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays 

Verifies receipting-in shipments and assists with placing machine down and stock orders in their proper inventory locations Participates in all job-related training and development  

Some warehouse duties as assigned 

Job Requirements:  

At least 1 year experience in parts department operations or relevant experience 

Ability to use standard desktop load applications  

Ability to work extended hours and weekends 

Excellent customer service skills High School Diploma or GED equivalent  

Ability to analyze and interpret basic parts department records
