POSITION SUMMARY:


Performs customer service and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale, and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient and profitable operation of the dealership


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


*Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs


*Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required


*Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays


*Verifies receipting-in of shipments


*Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager


*Places machine down and stock ordered parts in assigned locations in a timely manner


*Monitors shortages and expedites processing through reporting to Parts Manager


*Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order


*Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly


*Assists with the Honnen Shield Program


*All other duties as assigned by Manager

Job Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:


*Basic data entry/keyboarding skills


*Basic parts and machinery knowledge


*Ability to use the John Deere Parts Catalog computer application


*Ability to work in a team environment


*Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.


*High School diploma


*2+ years parts or equivalent experience


*Drivers license preferred
