The Delivery Driver/Shop Assistant operates vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership. May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures.



  • Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities.
  • Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed.
  • Drive to pick up/deliver parts.
  • Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts.
  • Follow all federate or state laws and regulations including company policy.
  • Maintain and clean shop vehicles and related equipment in good condition.
  • May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required.

Shop Assistant

  • Sweep and take out trash
  • General shop maintenance
  • Operate / drive large and small agricultural equipment
  • Operate / drive forklifts
  • Wash agricultural equipment
  • Load / Unload trucks / trailers
  • Assist in maintaining lot appearance / cleanliness
  • Assist in maintaining organization of warehouse
  • Cut grass / trim weeds
  • Assist in maintaining equipment inventory
  • Assist in maintaining organization of special tools
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Mechanical knowledge/experience
  • Forklift operation experience preferred
  • Good Driving record
  • Ability to operate ag equipment


  • 1+ years experience as trailer truck operator
  • CDL License preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience


  • Must be able to stand and walk, drive for long periods of time, climbing, bending, reaching pushing, pulling, leaning and twisting.
  • Most duties performed in varying temperature and climates due to working outside on location and in the service department.
  • Must have good balance, and be able lift up to 50 lbs.
