Job Description

This position is responsible for supporting local store marketing projects for an assigned group of RDO Equipment Co. locations. Our Marketing Services Coordinators are the first point of contact for local managers and key team members to ensure they have what they need to successfully market their business at a local level. The Marketing Services Coordinator must have the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, as well as plan implementation to take advantage of new technologies, distribution mechanisms, institutional needs and resources, and trends in the field.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Partner with locations in the development and implementation of in-store marketing materials and marketing programs, including but not limited to, traditional print materials, direct marketing materials, booklets/brochures, images for digital displays, and image banners for email marketing.
  • Coordinate the design, message, deployment of marketing materials requested by the field while providing top-level customer service to ensure local store marketing success.
  • Coordinate ordering and distribution of promotional materials and apparel for assigned locations.
  • Assist Marketing Business Specialists in the delivery of company-wide or regional campaign assets.
  • Responsible for tracking project workflow and ensuring all project delivery dates are met while following set marketing review and proofing processes.
  • Manage select vendor relationships and complete all follow-up activities.
  • Assist the Marketing Project Manager in the ordering and placement of marketing materials and artwork for new store openings and remodeled locations.
  • Manage tradeshow collateral and booth properties. Insuring consistency across the company footprint.
  • Implement the company brand guidelines as well as managing manufacturer brand requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of consistent methods for marketing processes across all divisions.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
  • Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so to present a professional image of RDO Equipment Co.
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
  • Participate in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Job Requirements:

  • 6 months+ experience supporting marketing initiatives and activities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, and possess strong organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to focus on supporting and completing assigned projects and meeting deliverables on time.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software and online applications
  • Up to 10 percent travel is required
  • Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
