Flint Equipment Company is a leading John Deere Construction and Forestry Equipment dealer in the southeastern United States with 28 locations operating throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama. Flint is committed to providing customers with unparalleled equipment service and solutions.  Flint Equipment has an opening for an innovative and creative marketing Manager that works as an integral part of the Management Team to support the ongoing development and execution of the company’s marketing strategies to achieve business plan goals.   This position leads projects focused on growing market share, driving revenue/growth, enhancing customer relationships, understanding marketing trends, developing the Flint brand, community, and public relations, merchandising and various special projects.  It is critical that this role provides direction, training and motivation of department personnel.  The Marketing Manager reports to the Vice President of Flint Construction & Forestry Division and will be based in the Atlanta, Georgia office.  Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for providing leadership in strategic planning for the Division, including segmentation, targeting, and position. 
  • Lead development and execution of digital advertising, marketing automation, and social media strategy 
  • Critical leader in CRM strategy, process, and execution
  • Develop and lead key marketing metrics via Dashboard 
  • Oversee public relations activities
  • Design and implement marketing campaigns that drive qualified leads to sales force
  • Monitor all advertising and other marketing and promotion related functions 
  • Support all stages of sales including customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty 
  • Plan and execute customer events to drive relationships and new sales
  • Ensure John Deere Brand compliance and alignment to business goals
  • Ensures that key, strategic messages are communicated effectively to target audiences
  • Motivate and encourage staff to obtain top business results
  • Participate in leadership training, coaching, and development of employees

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or relevant work experience
  • Intimate understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels
  • Experience with creating effective digital marketing strategies
  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production, etc.
  • Proficient in the use and analysis of data to formulate recommendations
  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience, including digital lead generation campaigns
  • Must have high competence in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and quickly adapt to new software systems.  CRM and Tableau experience a plus.

  • Must coordinate efforts with the marketing team
