Job Description

To fulfill Pattison Agricultures’ vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our fast-paced, energetic, organization.  This position is a full-time role and can be based out of any of our Pattison Agriculture locations.  The successful candidate will support the Marketing department in carrying out marketing initiatives through participation in events, compiling research, completing necessary documentation, editing/auditing & producing materials and/or reports.



This individual’s responsibilities include but not be limited to:

  • Compiling industry, market and demographic research, including focus groups
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly/monthly summary reports on team activities and company exposure
  • Develop and update written material (Web content, social media, reports, articles, presentations)
  • Administer and organize project files, articles, etc.
  • Assist with administering Ag’s Social Media Platforms & Websites (e.g., creating, updating and posting content)
  • Event coordination and execution
  • Book meetings and monitor calendars
  • Assist in the monitoring and reporting of project budgets to Marketing Manager, to ensure resources are allocated effectively
  • Act as a partner to and liaise with business partners
  • Update customer data to ensure accurate records
  • Assist in ordering and distributing promotional materials for the dealership (i.e. banners, promotional items, pamphlets, etc.)
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline current processes
  • Support individual and corporate efforts, celebrating successes and generating positive synergy throughout the organization


This would be an ideal position for you if you have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and confidence presenting
  • Proficiency, knowledge and comfort using various MS office suite products
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities
  • Video recording & editing, photography, and graphic design skills
  • Knowledge of alternate software programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Applicant should be self-motivated and capable to work independently
  • An undergraduate program in Commerce, Business Admin or Communications (focused in marketing, communications or a related field of discipline)
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (i.e. work weekends/evenings to help with hosting/execution of events) 
  • Valid driver's license required; with the willingness to travel independently, as needed
