Brandt Truck Rigging & Trailers is seeking Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technicians for the afternoon shift, 2pm-12:30am Monday to Thursday. This position will be responsible for performing mechanical repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers. Shift premiums and a boot & tool allowance will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to conduct CVIP inspections
- Troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems
- Ability to repair and adjust mechanical components
- Complete written and oral work orders
- Repair and adjust truck drive lines, engines and any other necessary mechanical components
- Instruct apprentices
- Diagnose and determine the nature and extent of repairs
- Other mechanical repair work and duties as required
