C & B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere Ag, material handling and power sports locations, has an opening for a John Deere Parts Specialist at its dealership located in Sioux Falls, SD at the former Ideal Yardware location. A Parts Specialist is responsible for selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories. Are you an individual with excellent customer service skills and a positive, enthusiastic disposition to exceed the on-going needs of our customers? Then this is the position for you!
Responsibilities:
- Promotes and sells products and/or services on and off-site to meet customer needs
- Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
- Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
- Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
- Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
- Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
- Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
- On-call rotation as needed during seasonal hours
Qualifications:
- Ability to provide excellent customer service skills
- Positive, enthusiastic disposition to exceed the on-going needs of our customers.
- Prior sales experience and John Deere parts and equipment knowledge preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team oriented
- Relates well to all kinds of people and easily builds trusting relationships
- Unwavering integrity and strong work ethic
- Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
- Fork lift knowledge preferred
