C & B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere Ag, material handling and power sports locations, has an opening for a John Deere Parts Specialist at its dealership located in Edgerton, MN. A Parts Specialist is responsible for selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories. We are looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills and a positive, enthusiastic disposition to meet or exceed the on-going needs of our customers. Prior sales experience and John Deere equipment knowledge a plus. Fast paced environment, with outside sales development potential for the right individual. Will be expected to be a part of the on call rotation as needed during seasonal hours.
Responsibilities:
- Promotes and sells products and/or services on and off-site to meet customer needs
- Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required
- Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
- Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations
- Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
- Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager
- Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
