Primary Responsibilities:
- Represents the company for the sale of machinery to internet customers
- Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership, with an emphasis on <90hp tractors, implements & attachments as well as Turf products
- Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
- Has a retail-selling emphasis (understands task-oriented questions to ask, validates customer requirements, proposes solution, offers demonstration and moves to close)
- Maintains all customer information for sales management
- Knows and follows a defined sales process
- Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
- Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
- May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes
- Documents all Internet leads for tracking purposes
- Works with and coordinates delivery through the local store • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality is vital.
- Must attend work regularly and to arrive at work on time.
- Failure to do so detrimentally affects team morale and productivity.
- Achieves results.

- Promotes TriGreen Equipment in a professional, honest manner (to include personal appearance and dress)
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with other TriGreen locations and including peers, management, and support resources with a continuous commitment to teamwork
- Follows all policies and processes
- Follows and promotes all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments for all TriGreen team members
- Performs other duties as assigned
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
- 1+ years of retail equipment sales experience
- Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred
- Excellent customer relationship skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office suite, internet tools & functions
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds; tasks may include lifting, bending, squatting, standing, sitting for prolonged periods of time
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays
