Position Specifics:

Department:  Human Resources
Reports to: HR Director
Supervises:  N/A 


Provides an opportunity for students to become involved in human resources-related activities.  Performs fundamental HR tasks, with guidance from the HR Team.   


•         Assist with job postings, activate searches on hiring forums and social media platforms for different job titles and job types.

•         Assist in screening potential employees’ resumes, go through their application forms and figure out the most suitable candidates for an opening.

•         Organize and set up interviews with candidates.

•         Assist the HR department and recruiting team in onboarding activities for new hires.

•         Update company databases by entering new employee contact information, details, and more and ensure data consistency so records agree with real-life data.

•         Remove the job posts once the vacancy has been filled to avoid unnecessary job alerts.

•         Update the HR section on the company intranet website.

•         Help in organizing company events and corporate activities as needed.

•         Assist in designing, preparing, and sending offer and rejection letters, emails, and messages to all candidates.

•         Learn about the company’s HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related items to be able to respond to any internal staff inquiries.

•         Work in cooperation with the HR team as needed to complete annual HR duties.

•         Provide administrative support to HR Director, HR Generalist, and Recruiter on any other special projects.

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

•         Studying toward a Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or business-related field.

•         Proven experience working in an office environment.

•         Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws.

•         Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.

•         Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

•         The ability to work as part of a team.

•         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•         Excellent administrative and organizational skills.

•         Effective communication skills.

•         Detail-oriented.
