Job Description

Van Wall Powersports is looking for an Inside Salesperson at our Indianola location. The position would sell new and used powersports equipment and accessories. The primary responsibility would be inside sales, working with new and existing customers. Additional responsibilities are outlined below.

-Represents the company for the sale of products to customers.

  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all products offered for sale.
  • Must be able to operate all equipment that is offered for sale by the dealership.
  • Maintains all customer information for sales management, monitoring trends in customer business activity.
  • Knows and follows a defined sales process.
  • Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events.
  • Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
  • Attends applicable sales training events/seminars.
  • Possess current knowledge of used equipment values to evaluate properly for trading purposes.

    Qualifications

  • 2+ years equipment sales experience (preferably within the powersports industry)
  • Knowledge of powersports products required.
  • Passion for powersports products and activities
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must have valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a motorcycle license within 30 days of beginning employment
