In order to help Pattison Agriculture fulfill its mission: Through teamwork and innovation, we partner with our customers who help feed the world; we are looking for a General Manager (Region 2) based out of Kindersley or North Battleford. Get in the field with Pattison Agriculture!  

As General Manager of Region 2  (Kindersley, Leader, North Battleford, and Unity) you will be responsible for the leadership, development and achievement of the organization’s business plans, goals and meeting the expectations of all stakeholders - owners, customers, and employees.   You will provide a cooperative work environment that will optimize the profitable growth of the business, the personal growth of employees, and the satisfaction of customers.


Duties will include but not be limited to:

•Provision of organizational leadership in the areas of physical assets, employees, business processes, and financial resources

•Coaching and development of Branch Managers in your assigned region, who are responsible to ensure that all departments are working together as a team to reach Pattison Agriculture goals

•Develop and execute the organization’s business and marketing plans

•Leads the dealership operations including the identification, development, and implementation of sound business practices and processes

•Provide guidance to the management team in making business decisions

•Oversees the evaluation, allocation, and management of physical assets, employment decisions, and financial resources to fulfill the stakeholders’ expectations

•Sets the financial direction for the organization utilizing annual budgets and ensures financial stability through audits and internal controls

•Ensures the dealership’s reputation and image in the community is consistent with the organization’s values, vision, and mission

•Leads and manages on-going relationships with key John Deere personnel and other suppliers

•Manages in cooperation with Human Capital recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position


The ideal candidate will have Post-secondary education in business, marketing or other related field; Combination of education and experience may be considered; 7+ years of management and inventory control experience in increasingly responsible roles; In-depth knowledge of the ag industry, combined with a proven understanding of requirements for successful branch operation; demonstrated experience in leading others and successfully coaching within an organization.
