Job Description

Department:  Administration

Reports to:    Controller

Supervises:   None


Purpose:

Performs critical support of sales process, maintaining inventory and advertising records with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze all paperwork submitted by the field sales staff and follow up with sales staff for clarification and/or corrections as needed.
  • Generates various sales activity and inventory reports for sales management as needed.
  • Ensures equipment information in the dealer business system and/or dealership website is accurate and timely updated.
  • Coordinates internal transfers of new and used equipment between dealership locations.
  • Ensures all additional customer ISG activated and administrated is properly completed (i.e. JD Link, MyJohnDeere Profiles, etc.)
  • Ensures Delivery Receipts are entered for equipment coming into inventory and after sale.
  • Other duties as assigned by management


Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices by either a 2-year Accounting degree or equivalent work experience
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
  • Exhibit positive and forward thinking skills
