Position Summary: This position is responsible for remote monitoring of internal and customer equipment.  In addition, this role will be responsible for the administration of Preventative Maintenance plans sold to customers.  The role will provide training, support and technical solutions to the 4Rivers Equipment Service Departments at all our store’s locations on the systems and policies/procedures used to ensure success from this role.

Duties and Tasks:

  1. Machine Monitoring
    1. Monitor systems for machine DTC’s and communicate information and resolution appropriately
    2. Receive and communicate Expert Alerts to responsible branch, and ensure action is taken
    3. Collate and distribute preventative maintenance alerts to responsible branch’s service departments
    4. Technical liaison between OEM and 4Rivers product support team 
    5. Monitor rental fleet and customer alerts and communicate with the appropriate contacts
    6. Train and develop additional 4Rivers employees on the machine monitoring capabilities
    7. Collaborate with 4Rivers leadership to support machine health 
  2. Preventative Maintenance Contracts
    1. Follow up on new equipment C&F sales to offer Preventative Maintenance contracts to customers
    2. Quote PM contracts to customer when requested
    3. Coordinate with responsible CSR to hand over quote and lead via CRM
  3. Service Advisor
    1. Help support customers and local branches who have sold Customer Service Advisor by providing training as requested
    2. Quote and present ServiceAdvisor to interested customers
  4. Training 
    1. Train service departments on the systems and procedures for the use of those systems
    2. Host regular training for various branches on GoAardvark, to ensure use of the system at the branch level

Physical Requirements:

  1. Capable of moving objects weighing up to 20 pounds.  
  2. Move over construction/excavation sites (irregular terrain)
  3. Able to operate a motor vehicle day and night

Working Conditions:

  1. Able to sit and work from a desk for the majority of an 8 hour work day
  2. May be asked to occasionally travel long distances with some nights out
  3. Hazards from electrical, mechanical and power equipment
  4. Risk of exposure to chemicals such as steam cleaner soap, used oil, spent antifreeze, parts cleaning solvent, volatile hydrocarbons, battery acid
  5. Mists, fumes and non-continuous noises of varying sound level and intensities
  6. Heavy dust from job site conditions
