JOB DESCRIPTION

 

JOB TITLE: Division Sales Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Division Sales Manager

 

 

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

Responsible for assisting division sales director in the processing and management of sales transactions in the assigned trade area. This position will take the lead on daily review of completed sales transactions for accuracy and policy compliance. Manage the assigned funds and programs for the sales force and act as a resource for proper finance and aftersales transactions. Assist Division Sales Manager in any other ways deemed necessary as it relates to division sales duties.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

 


•Daily review of deals assigned for workflow to insure proper program utilization and documentation for sales processing. Will be the first resource for processing, product, and accounting departments to work through issues with paperwork and processes.

 


•Provide first tier support to sales and store personnel on customer retail financing through JDF and other outside retail credit vendors.

 


•Assist in providing inventory marketing materials, such as pictures, to used equipment specialist and marketing representatives. Work with salesman to make sure they provided timely visibility to incoming used inventory they are responsible for.

 


•Assist in managing a systematic and fully functional sales management process regulating the sales force interaction with the entire customer base, including customer profiling and classification, and reporting and target marketing.

 


•Assist Retail Managers with sales process issues. Act as additional resource for retail sales expertise and support.

 


•Track equipment inventory used for the purpose of demo, loaner, and short-term rental. Includes tracking the location, use, and duration of these activities.

 


•Supports aftermarket goals and strategies by encouraging sales personnel to sell the whole business and the services offered by the dealership. Be point of contact for Powergard, warranty and aftermarket prepaid maintenance programs

 


•Must maintain a positive attitude and motivate sales personnel to provide outstanding customer service.

 


•Attend scheduled meetings with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate inter-departmental concerns, plans, and performance.


•Performs other duties or functions as directed by management in line with the objectives of the dealership.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 


•Must be able to read and understand marketing, finance, and technical data regarding products and keep up to date on knowledge of same.

 


•Must be able to operate dealer vehicles and products offered to customers for sale by dealership.

 


•Must communicate effectively with customers and co-workers via phone, in person, and through written correspondence.

 


•Must use written correspondence when preparing reports, making proposals and contributions to budgets, newsletters, and forecasts.

 


•Must be able to access and input information from a computer terminal for record keeping purposes and sales transactions.

 


•Must maintain a positive attitude and motivate sales personnel to provide outstanding customer service.

 


•Must work in an informal atmosphere that is team oriented with variable tasks and is both variable paced with variable pressure.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Post secondary degree (preferably in sales/marketing, agriculture, or business management)
  2. Previous sales experience
  3. Knowledge of selling techniques, sales processes, and farm equipment.
