Brandt is currently seeking a Director of Sales - Mineral Technology to be based out of our one of our branch locations in Calgary, Edmonton or Surrey for the Western region, and will report to the VP of Sales - Road and Mineral. This position is responsible for achieving sales growth and profitability in all areas of the Mineral Technology market in the assigned area of responsibility.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Achieving sales goals and market share targets as agreed for the long-term success of the Wirtgen business across the company and your area of responsibility
- Provide feedback and input to both Brandt and Wirtgen into future opportunities and competitive pressures in the Mineral Technology market
- Develop and execute effective sales and marketing Mineral Technology programs and advertising initiatives to drive sales growth
- Provide a focused approach to Mineral Technology sales and aid in the recruitment, development, and retention of Territory Managers across your area of responsibility
- Provide assistance and guidance to Sales Managers to support and improve sales techniques, proposals, training, demonstrations, and customer events
- Work with suppliers on current product issues, new product opportunities, and competitive pricing pressures
- Travel to branches to develop and foster multi-level selling processes with end users and understand unique market challenges
- Manage and direct Corporate Product Managers to enhance customer acceptance and improve customer experience during demonstration and delivery/ownership of assigned product groups
- Work with Corporate Inventory Manager to ensure specification and appropriate inventory is available to anticipate and satisfy sales demands
