Job Description

This position is responsible for leading Reynolds’ Data Management efforts.  This role should ensure a process is in place to educate employees and customers and possess the knowledge to answer questions as they arise.  This person is considered the primary internal and external resource for customer data management systems.

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • In-house John Deere Operations Center Expert
  • General working knowledge of other GIS Programs
  • Document processes, conduct training and provide best practices to employees on how to manage, handle and treat sensitive data. 
  • Create and define dealership data access levels for employees, working with dealership profile administrator to establish roles for certain data. 
  • Develop and implement a process to ensure dealership employees are having proactive conversations with customers about how data will be used while keeping the customer in control. 
  • Create, modify, store and communicate customer agreements, ensuring all permissions and relationship types are approved and validated to execute the customer agreement. 
  • Ensure a process is created to handle customer agreements, subscriptions and data during the trade-in and used purchase process to make sure things are transferred/retrieved appropriately. 
  • Conduct objective data audit(s) to ensure confidential data is properly stored and ensure dealership employees are accountable for sensitive data. 
  • Create an atmosphere of cooperation with stores and store personnel that foster compliance with the data management policy. 
  • Leverage Operations Center and connected apps to review and edit customer data
  • Abide by company data privacy policies 
  • Assist in growing use of the Operation Center and develop ways to provide additional value in accumulated data

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years’ experience in an agriculture-related role
  • GIS/Data Management Systems experience preferred
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data and reports
  • Understanding of database administration and management.
  • Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage projects which would include multi-tasking and prioritizing.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to demonstrate concern and care for customer privacy and data security.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external
  • Solid organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to store locations and customers
