21st Century Equipment in Yuma, Colorado is accepting applications for a Customer Support Representative.   This position will build customer relations by traveling to customer locations to perform parts and service sales, address customer concerns, promote aftermarket sales, furnish technical support where applicable and collect profiling information in order to enhance the customer experience.  Preferred applicants will have experience in agricultural business with involvement in either aftermarket or sales.  Required skills include excellent computer skills, familiarity with agricultural equipment, and strong customer relationship skills.  Benefits include Health & Dental/Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Traditional & Roth 401k with Company Match, Profit Sharing, Paid Vacation & Holidays, and more.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs and extended periods of driving will be required.  Salary range based on experience $50,000-$60,000/year plus incentive opportunity .  EOE.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:   Customer Support Representative - Aftermarket                                              

REPORTS TO:   Location Manager

WORKS CLOSELY WITH:  Service Manager/Parts Manager

JOB SUMMARY:   Builds customer relationships by traveling to customer locations to perform parts and service sales, address customer concerns, promote aftermarket sales, furnish technical support where applicable and collect profiling information in order to enhance the customer experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (listed in order of importance):

  •  Majority of time is spent outside of the dealership selling parts and service directly to the customers.
  • Markets parts and service products such as extended warranties, maintenance plans / PSP machine inspections, Next Century Packages, bulk oil / DEF, parts on-site cabinets, overhauls, standard job quotes, and special parts promotions
  • Addresses customer concerns and resolves problems effectively and satisfactorily
  • Profiles customer’s machines, vehicles, technology hardware and demographic information
  • Participates in product presentations at customer clinics, and dealer supported meetings
  • Conveys important customer needs information to the sales staff, parts, and service managers
  • Provides limited technical support where applicable
  • All duties assigned

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 1+ Years’ experience in agriculture business with involvement in either Aftermarket or Sales.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extended periods of standing, climbing bending, must be able to lift 50lbs regularly, extensive hours on a computer.
  • Extended periods of driving will be required.
