Job Title: Commercial Sales Account Manager
Department: Sales
Reports To: Sales Manager
 

Summary: Sells application equipment to Agriculture Service Providers in a defined sales territory. Application equipment includes self-propelled sprayers, toolbars, self-propelled spreaders, tractors, and other related customer enhanced products. Develops and maintains strong customer relationships providing solutions to our prospective and current Agriculture Service Provider customers.
 

Essential Job Functions:​​​​​​​

• Represents the Dealership in the sale of the application equipment to Ag Service Providers in a defined sales territory. 
• Creates, develops, and maintains customer accounts in the Ag Service Provider segment. 
• Knows and follows a defined sales process. 
• Delivers application products and ensures the customer understands how to optimize use of the equipment. 
• Organizes demonstrations, clinics, and trade shows in the designated sales area for customers on application equipment. 
 

Skills and Qualifications:
• 5+ years equipment sales experience preferred.
• 5+ years experience in the Ag Service Provider industry preferred.
• Knowledge of production agriculture industry and Ag Service Provider business.
• Knowledge of precision farming systems preferred.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow sales processes and be fluent in desktop applications.
• Four Year Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Agronomy preferred.
• Certified Crop Advisor certification or Applicators license preferred.
