Position Specifics:

Department: Sales

Reports To: Corporate Sales Manager

Supervises: None


Purpose:

Provides product expertise and support to Commercial & Governmental Customers and to dealership personnel in selling Commercial Mowing Equipment and Compact Construction Equipment


Responsibilities:

  • Represents the Dealership in the sale of commercial mowing equipment and compact construction equipment to customers in a defined sales area
  • Creates, develops, and maintains customer accounts in the commercial and governmental segment
  • Knows and follows a defined sales process
  • Maintains product knowledge on commercial mowing equipment, compact construction equipment and reports on competitive marketing and product activities
  • Maintains and reports all commercial and governmental customer activities and trends in assigned territory to sales management
  • Understands various financing options available on commercial, construction and government programs
  • Coordinates with locations in display and sale of commercial and construction equipment
  • Organizes product demonstrations and clinics for commercial mowing customers, municipalities and participates in local trade shows and dealership promotional events
  • Maintains dealership vehicle and other equipment as assigned
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned by your manager


Requirements

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • 1+ years commercial and construction equipment sales or territory management sales experience required
  • Knowledge of construction equipment, commercial mowing products and landscape industry
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Ability to speak and write effectively one-on-one and within a group
  • Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
