Brandt is currently looking to fill an Architectural Technologist position in our Regina, SK location.
Various levels of experience in the industry are being considered, to support our interdisciplinary Brandt building design team based on our Regina, SK location.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analysis, design and detailing of Architectural elements for all projects, including plans, technical details and assistance with specifications
- Design of Architectural works associated with the construction of new buildings & renovations projects
- Investigate preliminary Architectural layout options during the planning and schematic design process to meet the client’s requirements
- Preparation of cost estimates, tender contract documents and Architectural reports
- Prepare conceptual and design details, calculations, layouts, sketches, specifications which meet Brandt’s needs and which, comply with sound Architectural practices and standards
- Support the development of construction documents, coordinate with other (internal and external) design and Engineering disciplines, Contractors, Project Management and Constructors, and support the project through contract administration
- Complete various Site Inspections and prepare contract administration reports
- Review, evaluate, and improve upon Architectural designs, drafting, details and specifications
- Continued focus on operational excellence and long-term sustainability
- Support the Building Design Team as required, including internal collaboration, and assisting with other discipline Technologist tasks as required to deliver superior building solutions
- Perform other related duties as assigned
