Job Description

Builds customer relationships by traveling to customer locations to market and sell parts & Service, perform follow-up activities on complete goods, parts and service sales, address customer concerns, promote aftermarket sales and collect profiling information in order to enhance the customer experience.

Job Responsibilities/Duties
    Markets and sells parts & service to key customers including HGMs, HGIs, special parts promotions, best buy order programs, extended warranties, maintenance plans, standard job quotes, etc. via telephone onsite farm visitsActively services and sticks parts onsite cabinets weeklyAssists with parts receipting and storage, cycle counts, inventoryAssist with daily showroom stocking and maintaining clean, professional showroomMay provide location incoming parts call support during busy seasonPerforms follow-up calls at customer locations on complete goods and major parts and service transactions to make certain customer had a positive HTI experienceProfiles customers machines, vehicles and demographic information and make certain business system is updatedAs a secondary responsibility, supporting eCommerce may deliver parts to certain key customers and to key drop boxes located with the location AORAdditional responsibilities include working the parts counter and performing general parts department duties when not on the road promoting parts and serviceParticipates in product presentations at customer clinics, John Deere Days and other customer meetings held outside the dealershipEffectively addresses customer concerns and resolves problems.Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

    2+ years experience in an agricultural or turf related role with involvement in activities such as sales, service, training, or other related workExcellent customer relationship skillsAbility to write and speak effectively to individuals and groupsAbility to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
