Summary

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for monitoring customer accounts for nonpayment, delayed payments, research and resolve payment discrepancies, generate age analysis reports, maintain accounts receivable customer files and records, investigate and resolve customer billing discrepancies, record payments, process adjustments, reconcile accounts, process customer statements and perform other duties as directed by the Controller and or Team Lead. 



Essential Functions

Receivables: Communicate daily with Branch, Parts and Service Managers and Administrative Assistants on receivable discrepancies, customer requests, new account setup and Power Plan reconciliation. Compile and process customer statements monthly. 



Other Functions  

  • Assist with other duties assigned and directed by corporate management within the frame work of Murphy Tractor and Equipment Company, Inc.’s objectives.  


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 

• Intermediate computer skills including MS Windows, Word, Excel.

Physical Requirements and Work Schedule  

Employee must be able to do occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. 

Office schedule of M-F 8-5 



Education/Work Experience  

Two year degree from a college or school or at least three years related experience and/or training required.
